Columbus region home sales highest – ever! Central Ohio home sales hit a new apex this summer and now stand at their highest point on record. The 18,834 homes sold as of Aug. 31 were 22.9 percent higher than the number of homes sold January through August of 2012 and further exceed any previous year. Autumn season ends with home sales, prices up! November home sales in central Ohio showed healthy gains over last year. There were 1,923 residential sales during the month of November, a 30 percent increase from the 1,479 home sales in November 2011, according to the Columbus Board of REALTORS®. The Pint House Beer Garden Coming to The Short North By: Walker Construction recently began inside the former Voodoo Denim Lounge at 780 North High Street, which will house the new Pint House Beer Garden this March when it opens to thirsty Short North residents and visitors. Crews are currently gutting the former clothing store and installing new plumbing to accomodate the new bar and restaurant.
